Commission Portraiture
available in Pastel on paper or Acrylic on canvas. Prices are very
reasonable. My base rate is $15/hr. (Just trying to make a living
here, folks.) I have decades of experience, and yes, I can work from
photographs. Reference images must be 8 x 10 or larger,
and I prefer to have 2 views. The size of finished work starts
at a minimum of 12" in the smallest dimension, per individual.
A family of four can be accommodated within a 24- 36" painting
surface, and costs $800- $1200. That's the price for the work
and materials. Detailing is a factor in pricing.
